Are you a detail-oriented construction professional with a strong eye for accuracy and a passion for data-driven decision-making? We’re seeking a Construction Estimator to join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality commercial and institutional projects on time and within budget. In this role you’ll play a key part in pre-construction, collaborating across departments to create competitive, accurate estimates and help shape project success.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and construction drawings to understand scope and deliverables.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and cost analyses for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontract work.
• Build and submit complete proposals including budgeting, scheduling, and pricing strategies.
• Manage subcontractor invitations to bid and evaluate responses to ensure competitive pricing.
• Conduct subcontractor leveling and scope comparisons to support accurate buys.
• Perform project buy-out and contracting after award.
• Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting, analyzing, and reconciling data.
• Establish relationships with industry partners and stay informed on trends that influence pricing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Solid understanding of construction fundamentals, take-offs, and estimating principles.
• Familiarity with blueprints and ability to interpret construction plans.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with Procore, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), and bidding platforms is a plus.
• 3–5+ years of construction industry experience preferred; training available for the right candidate.

Pay

$90,000 - $120,000 per year
