Construction Estimator

I’m working with a construction company in Watertown, NY that bids federal, state, and commercial projects, specifically heavy commercial and government work. They’re looking for a Construction Estimator and are prioritizing sharp, coachable candidates over years of experience. Estimating is a fast track into construction leadership, offering exposure to the full business—drawings, cost, risk, and scheduling—with clear paths to Project Management or executive roles.

About the role

• Direct exposure to government and commercial bid work from day one
• Learn the full estimating process: takeoffs, scopes of work, material and labor costs
• Real path to grow into a Lead Estimator role

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related coursework
• Comfortable with numbers, drawings, and detail-oriented work
• Willingness to learn estimating software and construction divisions
• Able to work independently once trained

Pay

$33.00 - $48.00/hour
