Construction Estimator

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimates
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Aid in bid preparation and project handoff
• Track project costs, quantities, schedules, and documentation
• Support submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Cook up coordination with project managers, field teams, owners, engineers, and vendors
• Identify risks, solve problems, and support successful project execution

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction, estimating, project engineering, or project management
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
