Construction Engineering Supervisor
About the role
The AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Leader, with in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The Construction Project Leader will oversee a wide variety of highway, bridge, and municipal projects for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and local clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a wide variety of highway, bridge, and municipal projects for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and local clients.
- Directly oversee projects and team members in their local WisDOT Region.
- Provide strategic planning and delivery on key project needs and initiatives.
- Manage projects and team members to ensure quality, schedules, and budgets are in accordance with AECOM and client policy.
- Hire, mentor, and expand team’s experience, client base, and range.
- Collaborate with clients and other Construction Engineering Supervisors and act as a liaison between management and clients on multi-disciplined projects.
- Prepare and deliver proposals required to win the work.
- Recognize opportunities for strategic growth and build and lead teams to meet these opportunities.
- Collaborate and build relationships with both internal and external clients including industry associations and other consultant teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.
- Valid DMV license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.
- Past experience and selected as a Construction Project Leader for WisDOT projects.
- WisDOT and Local project and client management experience as well as proven success managing multiple concurrent projects.
