Duties And Responsibilities

  • Capability to serve as the resident project engineer in charge of the day-to-day administration of construction projects acting as an Owner's representative
  • Technical competency to understand project design intent and to respond to contractor requests for information
  • Analyze technical problems and engineering solutions
  • Manage and mentor junior construction staff, and support staff's career development
  • Participate in marketing efforts to further establish construction management services in the Great Plains market

Requirements

  • Education and/or Experience
  • Professional Engineer licensure current in Nebraska, or ability to obtain within six months of date of hire
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience performing construction phase project administration and inspection work on state transportation or municipal public works construction projects in a position of responsibility for construction projects
  • Experience administering projects with federal or state funding
  • Highly desirable experience includes working on construction projects as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Engineer

Pay

The pay for this position has a range of $120,000 - $165,000 annually. The actual offer will carefully consider a range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
