Job Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities.
- Completes tasks requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.
- Focuses on estimating take-offs, conducting walk-downs for quantity tracking, reporting installed quantities, and performing field inspections to verify design compliance.
- Assists in the review of construction drawings and related technical documents to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Contributes to specific portions of broader assignments within established guidelines.
- Aids in the review of RFIs and Submittals logs.
- Aids in the distribution of RFIs and Submittals responses to Field personnel (inspectors) for accuracy and latest construction documents.
- Collaborates with OEs for the creation of documentation folders for CCOs processing/tracking/filing.
- Collaborates with OEs and Inspectors for the verification of Q-sheets/quantities for Pay Apps.
- Aids in the maintenance of filing systems in SANDAG’s Share Point and AECOM’s secondary Share Point.
- Collaborates with Project Administration for the creation of weekly Construction Progress Owner’s meetings and statements of working days.
- Conducts Field Inspections as needed under the supervision of a seasoned inspector.
Qualifications
- BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
