Construction Defect Paralegal
Job Details
- Key Responsibilities
Provide full litigation support on construction defect cases from inception through trial
Draft, review, and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
Cookordination and management of all phases of discovery, including document production, interrogatories, and subpoenas
Maintain and organize case files, exhibits, and litigation calendars
Assist with trial preparation, including deposition summaries, witness coordination, and exhibit preparation
Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and internal teams as needed
Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements
- Qualifications
3+ years of paralegal experience within a litigation environment (construction defect experience strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of litigation processes, procedures, and timelines
Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hightly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
