We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Defect Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of construction law and a proven track record in litigation, defense, and insurance defense. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction defect litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents related to construction defect litigation.
  • Represent clients in court and argue motions, take effective depositions of lay and expert witnesses.
  • Consult with clients and advise on legal rights, obligations, and risks associated with construction defect litigation.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve complex construction defect disputes.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the best legal service is provided.
  • Stay abreast of current trends, rulings, and advancements in construction law and litigation.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Must be an active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction law, litigation, defense, and insurance defense.
  • Proven experience in civil litigation and civil defense.
  • Extensive knowledge of general liability, motion practice, deposition, discovery, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret and draft legal documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Pay

$125,000 - $225,000 per year
