Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Teach advanced craft theory, power distribution, transformers, and industrial troubleshooting across project sites.
  • Travel 70% or more Monday through Friday to various U.S. project locations, returning home on weekends.
  • Oversee apprentice enrollment, application processing, scheduling, and progress tracking.
  • Maintain accurate program documentation and regulatory accreditation compliance.
  • Provide curriculum leadership, enhance instructional strategies, and mentor less experienced instructors.

Qualifications

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Education: Bachelors

Skills

  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and virtual tools like Teams or Zoom.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of journey- or technician-level electrical or construction craft experience, ideally with a blend of open shop or union exposure.
  • More than 3 years of successful vocational teaching experience.
  • The ability to obtain an NCCER Instructor Certification.
