Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Teach advanced craft theory, power distribution, transformers, and industrial troubleshooting across project sites.
- Travel 70% or more Monday through Friday to various U.S. project locations, returning home on weekends.
- Oversee apprentice enrollment, application processing, scheduling, and progress tracking.
- Maintain accurate program documentation and regulatory accreditation compliance.
- Provide curriculum leadership, enhance instructional strategies, and mentor less experienced instructors.
Qualifications
- Experience level: Experienced
- Education: Bachelors
Skills
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and virtual tools like Teams or Zoom.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of journey- or technician-level electrical or construction craft experience, ideally with a blend of open shop or union exposure.
- More than 3 years of successful vocational teaching experience.
- The ability to obtain an NCCER Instructor Certification.
