Construction Coordinator

Description

Must be able to work Monday - Thursday in office. Most of the work will be in office and not in the field. Start at 7:30a until 4 or 4:30 depending on 30 min or 1 hour lunch.

Responsibilities

• Easily learns new soft tools, proficient in Excel, etc.
• The Knowledge of Telecom is a plus. Can be trained; must have a base of knowledge - could be building line extensions, helping Acadia project, small project manager - manage small build projects - some a couple thousand feet some Span some new build needs to be punctual
• Cover from Everglade City to the lower half of Bradenton and all Central FL - for the site visits
• Train someone who can learn from day 1 and continue to build from there
• Wants someone willing to learn and get better every day

Requirements

• Must be able to work Monday - Thursday in office
• Must be able to work in the field - it changes but likely no more than 15-25%
• Fort Myers, FL office is preferred, might be open to the Sarasota office but would still need to train in Fort Myers
• Start at 7:30a until 4 or 4:30 depending on 30 min or 1 hour lunch

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

About the Role

The Construction Coordinator, is of course not in IT at all, and the job description from the SOWs is quite different:

Scope of Project: The construction coordinator is responsive for job creation workflow and milestone management of construction projects as well as administrative quality control of jobs.

• Create jobs in JT/Polaris
• Issue Jobs to design
• Manage job through full lifecycle updating milestones in JT/Polaris
• Handle exceptions to the life cycle SLAs
• Reconcile jobs (office)

• Liaise with Stakeholders
• Point of contact for all internal client cross functional groups including BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales
• Provide reporting for next level management

• Identify Resources
• Create and approve funding request
• Material management and reconciliation
• Research contracts and agreements
• Manage funding request/purchase order
• Responsible for job estimate(finance)

• Manage and Analyze Quality control Flow
• Manage quality control workflow
• Validate that the field quality control is performed
• Pull reports/provide feedback based on analysis of reports
• Interact with other roles, including specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones have been closed

• Conduct admin and Milestone Quality Control
• Follow admin QC checklist (materials, invoice, pictures, footages)
• Validate permit is closed
• Final invoice milestone is set
• Ensure all milestones are updated
• Close jobs
