Responsibilities
- Cook up all phases of construction projects including pre-construction, permitting, design, material procurement, construction, and closeout
- Support planning of workflows, schedules, and resource allocation
- Ensure projects are executed in accordance with established standards and timelines
- Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or issues
- Develop and support cost estimates for construction projects
- Monitor job costs and track work-in-progress against budget
- Review and evaluate change orders for accuracy and financial impact
- Support cost control efforts to ensure project profitability
- Conduct site walkouts and ride-outs to assess project conditions, gather data, and monitor progress
- Perform post-construction reviews to ensure quality and completion standards are met
- Identify field issues and collaborate on solutions with internal teams and contractors
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and construction crews
- Maintain resource allocation including labor, materials, and equipment
- Partner with internal teams including Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, Legal, Engineering, and Design
- Provide technical input and construction support to cross-functional stakeholders
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to leadership and relevant teams
- Coordinate permit applications, licensing, and make-ready processes
- Interface with municipalities, utility companies, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
- Maintain project logs, reports, and documentation related to construction activities, materials, and expenditures
- Track project milestones and provide status updates to management
- Review and respond to customer requests and complaints related to construction activities
- Ensure timely resolution and maintain customer satisfaction

- Accuracy and timeliness of project reporting

- Customer satisfaction and issue resolution
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in cable/telecom construction (fiber and coax preferred)
- Exposure: Full construction lifecycle (design through closeout)
- Telecom infrastructure deployment (aerial and underground)
- Budgeting, cost tracking, and financial coordination
- Contractor and vendor management
- Regulatory and permitting processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel to job sites and perform field inspections
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
