Construction Control Representative

About the position

This is a Limited Area of Consideration for applicants that are Current Civilian Employees of the Command, USACE and the other employment authority categories listed above. This position is a Construction Control Representative, serving as a Contracting Officers Representative for the Operations and Maintenance Services Cost Contract, and other contracts as may be necessary, for the complete operations and maintenance of multi-purpose civil works project.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contract performance and compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Resolve contract issues and disputes in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare and review contract documents, including change orders and claims.
• Manage contract negotiations and facilitate contract closeout processes.
• Ensure adherence to cost control measures and monitor budget compliance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on contract administration matters.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction management or contracting.
• Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and policies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Skills

Pay

The pay range for this position is $45,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
