About the role

This is a Construction Control Representative, GS-0809-7/8/9/10/11/12 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division (NWD), Omaha District, Construction Division. This is a developmental position located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Responsibilities

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Requirements

• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Position requires a 1‑year probationary period during which the agency evaluates fitness and whether continued employment advances the public interest; evaluation may consider performance and conduct, agency needs and interests, support of organizational or Government goals, and promotion of Federal service efficiency.
• Continued employment requires written certification that it advances the public interest.
• Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
• Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from the Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
