About the role
The Construction Assistant Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects from planning through completion
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality work
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design issues
- Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction management
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
