Description

The Assistant Project Manager will:

  • Support Project Managers with the day-to-day management of residential construction projects
  • Aid in project scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and vendors
  • Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
  • Manage project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Track project budgets, invoices, and financial reporting
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues
  • Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are available when needed
  • Aid in Quality Assurance/Quality Control efforts throughout construction
  • Attend project meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders
  • Aid in project closeout and warranty documentation

Profile

  • Any experience in residential construction, homebuilding, remodeling, or related construction fields
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required
  • Internship, field experience, or project coordination experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; construction software experience is a plus
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
