About the role
The Construction Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. They work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of project plans and schedules
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor project progress and report on status to project manager
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and communicating with clients
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction management or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
