Construction Admin Support Specialist I
About the role
Fluor is a leading government contractor delivering high-value technical solutions worldwide to U.S. government agencies such as the DOE, NNSA, the Department of Defense, and the Intelligence Community. As a Construction Support Specialist I, you will plan and perform work requiring sound engineering judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of assignments. You may implement and execute construction support activities on projects globally. On smaller projects, you may function as the lead for construction support activities.
- Support projects located in the office and in the field.
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organizational and project objectives.
- Organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively, meeting deadlines.
- Plan and organize your own work assignments and carry out tasks from management staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, organize, and execute construction support activities on projects worldwide.
- Analyze problems and recommend solutions aligned with project and organizational goals.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Perform constructability assignments in the office or at project sites.
- Collaborate with coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
Requirements
- Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field of study and six years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience totaling ten years if non-degreed. Some locations may have additional or different qualifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete assignments.
- Ability to learn and apply local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Qualifications
- Basic computer and software skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.
- Through understanding of construction operations and support functions.
- Problem-solving, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to collaborate and adapt to changing conditions.

Pay
Salary range: $67,000.00 - $125,000.00. The market rate for this role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; final salary is determined by candidate qualifications, relevant experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions.
