What You'll Do

• Support accounting activities for active construction and infrastructure projects
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare customer invoices and assist with project billing
• Track project costs and maintain accurate job cost records
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
• Review vendor invoices and ensure proper coding
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
• Partner with project managers to research billing and cost discrepancies
• Auxiliary with audits, financial reporting, and special projects
• Continue expanding your responsibilities as your experience grows

What We're Looking For

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting function
• Construction accounting experience preferred
• Open to candidates with limited experience who are eager to learn and build a career
• Exposure to job costing or project accounting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
• Desire to grow within a long-term career in construction accounting

Salary

$70,000 - $85,000 per year
