Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cost analysis, and manage work-in-progress (WIP) reports to monitor project costs and profitability.
- Utilize Vista ERP and Viewpoint Vista to manage and maintain accurate financial records.
- Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create and manage complex financial models and reports.
- Oversee general ledger functions and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
- Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment.
- Track budgets, manage job cost reporting, and perform cost tracking to ensure financial efficiency.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate reflection of company financial transactions.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in cost analysis, WIP, Vista ERP, Viewpoint Vista, and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid knowledge of general ledger functions, account reconciliations, financial reporting, month-end close, accounts payable and receivable.
- Experience with budget tracking, job cost reporting, and cost tracking.
- Familiarity with the construction industry and its unique financial challenges and requirements.
- Ability to prepare and post journal entries accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Pay
$72,000 - $76,000 per year
