Construction Accountant

About the role

As a Construction Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
• Monitor budget adherence and provide recommendations for cost savings
• Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and revenues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction accounting
• CPA certification preferred

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Salary range: $50,000 - $75,000 annually
