Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, including cost analysis, job cost reporting, and cost tracking
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed
- Perform regular account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
- Develop and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders, providing valuable insight into project performance
- Handle month-end close procedures and create journal entries as needed
- Utilize Vista ERP and Viewpoint Vista for efficient and accurate financial management
- Track and monitor project budgets, forecasting financial outcomes and making recommendations to optimize profitability
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure financial objectives are met
- Ensure financial compliance with industry regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Vista ERP and Viewpoint Vista
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and account reconciliations
- Proven experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and budget tracking
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to forecast and track project costs effectively
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
Pay & schedule
$72,000 - $76,000 per year. Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Fresno, CA.
