Key Responsibilities
- Lead job cost accounting activities for construction and capital projects
- Track and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial results to support informed decision-making
- Evaluate contracts, change orders, invoices, and lien releases for compliance with project and organizational requirements
- Ensure all subcontractor lien waivers and releases are obtained, reviewed, and processed in a timely manner
- Generate detailed financial reporting and variance analyses for project leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, vendors, and finance personnel to ensure effective project financial management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience in construction, project-based, or capital-intensive environments
- Solid knowledge of job costing, project accounting, and project financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP platforms
- Experience analyzing budgets, forecasts, and project costs to support financial decision-making
- Familiarity with contracts, change orders, vendor billing, and compliance-related project documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and project teams
