This is a high-impact opportunity for a Construction Accountant who can step in quickly, manage day-to-day accounting functions, and ensure accurate job costing and financial tracking across multiple projects. Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Immediate start with strong visibility across operationsWork closely with project and accounting teamsOpportunity to apply and strengthen job costing experience as a Construction AccountantDynamic environment where your work directly impacts project success Key Responsibilities Of The Construction Accountant As a Construction Accountant, you will: Process high-volume accounts payable invoice entryCode invoices, expenses, and credit card transactions to the appropriate jobs/projectsManage vendor payments and follow up on invoices, discrepancies, and payment statusSupport customer billing, including construction-style and AIA billing as neededAssist with job costing by accurately allocating labor and material expenses by projectReconcile company credit card transactions and maintain supporting documentationCommunicate proactively regarding backlog, coding questions, and outstanding itemsEnsure accuracy and organization across all day-to-day accounting activities as a Construction Accountant Preferred Qualifications Of The Construction Accountant 2+ years of experience as a Construction Accountant, ideally in construction or a project-based environmentStrong understanding of job costing and how to correctly allocate costs to projects (required)Experience with Sage 100 (strongly preferred)Familiarity with construction accounting practices and workflowsExperience with AIA billing is a plusExposure to union payroll is a plusAbility to step into a role quickly and operate independently as a Construction AccountantStrong attention to detail and communication skills #INJUL2026
