Day Kimball Health is hiring for a Full Time job, 40 hours, All Shifts Available, in Putnam, CT.

Constant Attendant Benefits Summary:

Constant Attendant Job Responsibilities:

  • Remain alert and in visual contact with the patient at all times.
  • Aid the patient in daily activities as directed by the nurse.
  • Aid the nurse in restraining and removing restraints.

Constant Attendant 1:1 Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain direct 1:1 constant observation.
  • Keep patient within an arm’s length at all times, even when patient is bathing and toileting.
  • Remain alert and in visual contact with the patient at all times.
  • Aid the patient in daily activities as directed by the nurse.
  • Aid the nurse in restraining and removing restraints.

Constant Attendant Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience preferred, but not required.

Constant Attendant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Meets the physical demands of the position.
  • Demonstrates ability to cope with and function under stress.
  • Trained in non-violent crisis intervention.
