Console Operator - 2nd Shift 3:30-12 Mon to Fri
About the role
The Security Command Center (SCC) Console Operator operates and controls electronic data collection equipment in the SCC using CPUs, monitors, alarms, and control panels. This role is under the direction of a Security Supervisor and is responsible for completing each shift satisfactorily.
Responsibilities
- Produces employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards.
- Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control.
- Reports security violations and provides guidance to support staff to properly resolve issues.
- Prepares incident reports and maintains security tracking logs, security documents, and key records.
- Has knowledge of the operations of a central command center (e.g., access control, dispatching, surveillance equipment).
- Knowledge of procedures for handling security inquiries and the utilization of security technology.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures used to validate, process, and track access credentials of authorized persons to ensure a safe work environment at company facilities.
Qualifications
- High School or GED - Required
- Associate Degree or college enrollment - Preferred
- Less than one year in Security environment/industry
- Completion of course in computer operation may be substituted for 6 months of specialized experience
Additional Requirements
- This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
Pay
The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
