Position Summary
The Bike Mechanic is part of a team that implements the Bike Library program. This program provides free access to bikes on loan for two hours per visit. It encourages park patrons to explore 10 miles of trails at Shirley Chisholm State Park and enjoy the scenic views of Jamaica Bay.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $20.95–$23.43 per hour
- Season: September 10 – November 1, 2026
- Days: Thursday–Sunday, plus federal holidays and special events
