About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join us at the ground level. This is more than a staff PT position. As one of the practice's first key clinicians, you will work directly with ownership to help build the clinical foundation of the office, establish workflows, develop referral relationships, and help recruit and onboard future PTs, PTAs, and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based outpatient physical therapy
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional recovery and return to work
- Maintain clear, timely, and thorough clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians, case managers, employers, and other care-team members
- Help establish practical clinical workflows and office protocols
- Support referral relationships and practice growth
- Help recruit, onboard, and mentor future clinical and support staff
- Take on increasing leadership responsibility as the practice grows
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Connecticut PT license, or eligibility to obtain one before the anticipated start date
- 3-5 years of outpatient experience
- DPT or equivalent recognized physical therapy degree
- Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
