Position Summary
This role assists the Congregational Care Coordinator with the care of members and coordinates between the church's ministries, volunteers, employees, and vendors. Provides care, prayer and aid to those in need. Effective communication with Congregational Care Coordinator, Congregational Care Pastor and other receptionists on who's being admitted in/out of the hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend monthly meetings with team/ Congregational Care Pastor
- Attend monthly staff meetings as a member of the BMBC Team
- Update membership information as well as update records of those who have been hospitalized from our deacons, ministers and ministry leaders
- Hospital visitations each day of the week
- Follow up with members for a span of 3-6 months
- Rotation of care, which includes a list of active ministers whose names are in alphabetical order, first to ensure that each minister has had a chance to care for someone
- Maintain a well-planned, empathetic and carefully balanced system of care
- Provide care to those who have gone through bereavement
- Cover funerals and keep up with the family whose funeral attended
- Promote the vision of the church with regards to missions

- Perform duties assigned by leadership in support of ministry and operational goals

Represent BMBC with excellence, integrity, humility, and professionalism in all interactions. Demonstrate conduct consistent with Christian principles and the standards expected of staff and ministry leaders. Maintain confidentiality, stewardship, and accountability in all assigned responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Work may occur in office, ministry, worship, campus, community, or event environments depending on the role.
- Evening, weekend, holiday, and special-event availability may be required.
- Role may require standing, walking, lifting, computer use, public interaction, and/or travel depending on assigned duties.

Performance Review Criteria
- Annual evaluation based on KPIs, role responsibilities, leadership feedback, ministry impact, policy compliance, and demonstration of core competencies.
- Supervisors should review measurable outcomes, quality of execution, communication effectiveness, and alignment with BMBC values.
