Congregate Residential Counselor Overnight

About the role

The Home in Walpole is seeking Residential Counselors to support youth with trauma histories, developmental delays, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Supporting youth in developing essential life skills, coping mechanisms, and social skills through modeling, counseling, and group activities.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for the youth.
• Participate in recreational and educational activities.
• Engage in verbal and physical interventions as needed.
• Multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced treatment setting.
• Receive and implement feedback from supervisors in real-time and through structured processes.

Qualifications

• One year of prior experience working with youth.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A strong passion for positively impacting the lives of children and families.
• Eligibility for a CORI/background check and a valid ID.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Salary offering at $20 per hour.
