Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies for conformal coating.
- Apply conformal coating using HVLP spray equipment, brushes, dip coating, or selective coating systems.
- Set up, operate, clean, and maintain coating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret manufacturing work instructions, assembly drawings, specifications, and coating mix ratio guidelines.
- Inspect coated assemblies to verify proper coverage, thickness, and overall quality.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Follow ESD, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Report equipment issues, material concerns, or quality discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the US under ITAR
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in precision spray applications involving paints, coatings, or similar chemical materials with consistently high-quality results.
- Experience using HVLP spray systems for conformal coating or comparable applications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and coating specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Work may include bending over or crouching.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
