The Opportunity
As a Conflicts Researcher, you will utilize Intapp Open conflicts software and online research tools to generate accurate reports on the firm’s prior involvement with parties involved in potential new business. You should have familiarity with legal terminology used for common business structures.
Day-to-Day
- Work with firm leadership, partners, and business colleagues on a variety of requests and projects.
- Generate new business conflicts of interest reports according to department procedures, utilizing Intapp Open conflicts software and available online research tools.
- Understand and apply department standard operating procedures and conflicts request workflow.
- Interpret and analyze information, compile, review, filter, synthesize, and determine logical conclusions or recommendations based on data and information.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in managing assignments in relation to firm and department priorities.
- Show ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred, but conflicts experience may be considered.
- Prior work experience in a legal or professional service environment desired.
- Experience with relational databases, such as Intapp Open, LegalKey, or CompliGuard, is desired.
- Experience with online research tools, including Dun & Bradstreet, is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn new software is required.
- Experience working with PDF software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
