About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join their dynamic team. This position is available remotely or at one of their office locations.
Responsibilities
- Process conflict searches for daily new client and new matter requests in a timely manner.
- Perform detailed corporate research using various search resources, including analysis, interpretation, and application of information from recent press releases and historical references.
- Thoroughly review Intapp Open workflow requests, ensuring key information is included for appropriate processing.
- Provide detailed review of Conflict Results Report to identify true potential conflicts based on established team guidelines.
- Conduct necessary research to determine materiality of potential conflicts.
- Research Conflicts Database and other firm documents to ensure appropriate conflicts resolution.
- Contact the appropriate request stakeholders to clear potential conflicts.
- Communicate daily with the Manager regarding resolution of potential conflicts of interest or any areas of concern relevant to pending requests.
- Maintain telephone and personal contact with attorneys and staff on conflict of interest matters.
- Track status of outstanding or ongoing Work Flow requests.
- Handle special projects assigned by the Director of Conflicts Operations and Conflicts Managers.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A 2- or 4-year degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience is required, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Previous experience with Intapp is required.
- Experience following bankruptcy guidelines and related rules with respect to conflicts processing is preferred.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete under time constraints.
- Ability to perform effectively with moderate supervision and within established time limits and on-going deadlines.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally and provide exceptional service.
- Ability to respond to requests requiring analysis and decision making for new clients/matter processing.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with skill and experience, ranging from $63,000 - $128,000 in California, $58,000 - $103,000 in Colorado, $57,000 - $110,000 in Illinois, $63,000 - $120,000 in Massachusetts, $61,000 - $92,000 in Maryland, $63,000 - $104,000 in Minnesota, $68,000 - $123,000 in Jersey City, NJ, $58,000 - $126,000 in New York, $62,000 - $119,000 in Vermont, and $61,000 - $115,000 in Washington, D.C., with additional details provided in the Benefits section.
