About the role
The role of Conflicts Analyst combines concise legal and business research with conflicts-of-interest analysis. It involves identifying, reviewing, and analyzing conflicts reports and liaising with fee earners to determine whether a legal or commercial conflict exists or could arise.
- Liaise with fee earners to highlight or identify potential conflicts of interest
- Analyze and interpret complex search results from the firm’s conflict systems and other internal or external systems to ascertain conflicts
- Validate and vet information on the internal Conflicts form
- Review database searches to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Develop knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the wider Risk and Compliance team
- Assist in educating and raising awareness of the firm’s conflicts processes and policies
Requirements
You will be passionate about a career in Risk and enjoy research and analysis. A can-do attitude, inquisitive mind, and analytical background are essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- Educated to degree level, preferably with a law degree or qualified in Compliance
- Experience in a professional services environment is ideal
