Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain drawing and BOM packages for assigned customers
- Generate BOMs from customer supplied parts list and print packages for new solicitations and jobs
- Maintains organized filing system for all print packages. Stores and archives all electronic documents on network server
- Initiates, monitors, and implements BOM change notifications
- Implements, maintains, and archives all change notices for internal and external requests including ECN (Engineering Change Notice), ECP (Engineering Change Proposal) /ECO (Engineering Change Orders), NOR (Notice of Revision) and other requested changes
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- AS degree in mechanical design, business, manufacturing technology, accounting or IS, preferred
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings, preferred
- Ability to utilize rule-based logic to convert parts lists to BOMs
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
