Requirements
- Set up and configure computers and peripheral based on the scope of work.
- Accurately diagnose and resolve problems with malfunctioning PCs, Macs, laptops, printers, or other peripherals.
- Perform quality control on assigned projects.
- Respond to order requests and customer emails to assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise.
- Train team members on processes, tools, and technology.
Essential Functions
- Imaging laptops and desktops.
- Hardware and software installations and configurations.
- Troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware and software issues.
- Bench test refurbished devices such as PCs, monitors, switches, phones, etc.
- Desktop and Laptop repair.
- Server hardware configuration.
- Small office installs.
- Documentation.
Job Qualification Requirements
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- A+ or comparable experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Working knowledge of common desktop applications.
- Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop computer hardware.
- Ability to work full time.
- Occasional travel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable transportation.
- Ability to multi-task.
Physical Demands
- Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Lift 50 lbs +.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Time spent in low postures (crouching, stooping, kneeling, bending).
- Climbing (ramps, stairs, or ladders).
- Sit at a computer for 8 hours per day.
- Keyboarding for 8 hours per day.
- Reaching overhead.
- Near vision (working with small objects or reading small print).
- Speaking (communicating information to clients / coworkers).
