Job Summary

The Configuration Specialist is responsible for preparing, configuring, and implementing computer applications and software systems to ensure a seamless client experience. This role serves as a vital link between Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Care, guiding clients through the implementation process from initial setup to successful launch and transition to support.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis: Analyze, document, and illustrate "as-is" and "to-be" business processes and requirements.
  • Documentation: Prepare functional/business requirements, use cases, and instructional manuals.
  • Implementation: Configure, test, and deploy business processes and software requirements.
  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep technical understanding of the Records Management solution with a fast ramp-up time.
  • Strategic Consulting: Leverage platform capabilities to meet partner visions, value propositions, and specific use cases through packaged solutions.
  • Client Onboarding: Support customer onboarding using best practices for system setup and long-term utilization.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Balance multiple client engagements simultaneously, maintaining accountability to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Transition & Support: Coordinate with IT for environment setup and manage the "handover" process to the Support organization for post-go-live success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

5+ years of relevant experience in customer-focused technical engagements.

Technical Acumen

  • Strong familiarity with software version control tools, productivity suites, and computer hardware/software integration.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and guide co-workers and customers across departments.
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, quick learner, and able to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Product Suite (Word, Excel, Project, and Visio).
