Configuration Specialist III

Responsibilities

• Consultancy and Configuration
• Provide support to existing clients including report generation at critical times of the year
• Advises and assists the client in maintaining and enhancing their application
• Configures the system as per the defined requirements using the system user interface
• Works with technical teams to resolve system and configuration issues
• Attends customer meetings and calls as and when required in support of larger implementation projects, ensuring a professional image at all times
• Provides status updates, highlights risks and issues to supervisor (within the project and/or people manager)
• Dedicated Consultancy
• Serves as the main point of contact for key customers
• Technical Configuration
• Builds and maintains custom forms using XML/SQL build scripts

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience required
• Strong academic background in a relevant discipline e.g. computer science, engineering, sustainability or equivalent (also a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• A high level of numeracy
• Strong working knowledge of Excel required
• Detail-oriented and analytical thinking
• Familiarity with web-based applications
• Ability to learn new software applications rapidly
• Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills as this is a customer-facing role
• Experience with relational databases and use of SQL
• Working knowledge of XML is ideal
• Experience in software implementation and / or support, a plus
• Previous experience working in teams for project delivery, a plus
• Previous experience in a customer facing role, a plus

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000. USD to $90,000. USD and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors.
