Configuration / Release Manager
About the role
The Configuration / Release Manager will control JPES/JCRM software baselines, changes, release packages, deployment coordination, and configuration traceability. Responsibilities include maintaining software and configuration baselines, managing change records and configuration status, coordinating release packages and deployments, maintaining release documentation, supporting CCB/change-control activities, maintaining version and release traceability, coordinating with development, test, cyber, and DevSecOps, supporting audits and configuration-status reporting, and maintaining traceability from approved change through production release.
Responsibilities
- Control JPES/JCRM software baselines, changes, release packages, deployment coordination, and configuration traceability
- Maintain software and configuration baselines
- Manage change records and configuration status
- Capture and maintain release documentation
- Coordinate release packages and deployments
- Support CCB/change-control activities
- Maintain version and release traceability
- Carefully coordinate with development, test, cyber, and DevSecOps
- Support audits and configuration-status reporting
- Maintain traceability from approved change through production release
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- Four additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- Five plus years of software configuration/release-management experience
- Source/version-control experience
- Formal change-management experience
- Software release-management experience
- Strong documentation and coordination skills
- U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility

Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
