About the role
This role supports contingent workforce initiatives and related staffing efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, review, and interpret data related to aircraft, weapon, mission-system, or product support programs
- Maintain configuration control of acquisition products, program documentation, and technical data
- Track configuration changes, change packages, approvals, and related action items
- Cook up and support the development, review, and routing of Engineering Change Proposals and related documentation
- Apply government-established processes for documentation control, change control, configuration management, and data management
- Sustain configuration control boards, working groups, technical reviews, and program meetings
- Maintain tracking tools, status reports, logs, and repositories to support visibility of configuration actions
- Cook up with engineering, logistics, contracting, program management, and government stakeholders
- Review documents for accuracy, consistency, traceability, and compliance with program requirements
- Prepare meeting materials, minutes, action item logs, data call responses, and program status inputs
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline and Active Secret security clearance
- Associates degree plus two additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
- Four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
- 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties similar to the functional description
- Five years of experience supporting Naval aviation or comparable DoW acquisition programs
- Ability to work effectively with government, military, and contractor stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional briefs, reports, and correspondence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting aircraft, weapons, avionics, mission systems, or aviation support equipment
- Familiarity with configuration control boards, ECP packages, data management, and technical documentation workflows
- Experience supporting government documentation and change-control processes
