About the role

Perform and oversee configuration and data management processes to control aspects of program(s) execution and report metrics. At Lockheed Martin Space, you’ll help keep people safe and solve the world’s most complex challenges through purposeful innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze proposed changes of product design or requirements to determine the effect on the overall product and system.
  • Lead and/or act as voting member on hardware reviews and Physical Configuration Audits.
  • Coordinate modification records for management control.
  • Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor personnel.
  • Prepare reports of change effect on overall product.
  • Review change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
  • Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
  • Handle Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL) schedules, deliveries, and verification in accordance with contract requirements and schedules.
  • Maintain program access control for Configuration & Data Management (C&DM) systems/tools.
  • Prepare data for archival and maintain archive records for retrieval as required.
  • Maintain a document number system and provide document numbers as required.
  • Handle the review and retention of supplier data.
  • Conduct the configuration of supplier Statement of Work (SOW)/SDRL.

Requirements

  • Experience with change control processes and analyzing proposed changes to determine effect on overall product and system, including identifying potentially impacted subsystems.
  • Proficient in Configuration Management skills on sophisticated systems, including two or more of the following: Engineering Release Processes, Product Identification, Baseline Change Control, Status Accounting, Verification/Audit.
  • Experience in establishing and executing processes for efficiency and compliance for different lifecycle phases of a program.
  • Experienced with PTC Windchill software or other Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) systems.
  • Adept in Microsoft Office applications, including generating, compiling, and analyzing data reports.
  • U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL), managing deliverable schedules, and performing deliveries to the customer.
  • Familiarity with Government contracts or subcontract management.
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings, including setting meeting agendas, capturing actions, and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Hardware Acceptance reviews and Physical Configuration Audits, As-Designed/As-Built, Verification/Audit.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field.
  • Experience working with or reviewing design drawings, CAD models, or engineering documentation.
  • Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE) or CAMEO for System Architecture Modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, modify, and optimize processes for integration of AI technologies.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $81,500 – $151,300. The salary range is a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market considerations.

For Washington state applicants only: Non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) for incidental absences and other reasons, and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month, up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
