This person must work at one of the following Government and/or SAIC locations Arlington, VA, Ft. Meade, MD, or North Charleston, SC. Key Duties And Responsibilities Support the CM Lead in establishing and maintaining a CM process for controlling hardware, software, documentation, media, and partsIdentify, document, and verify the functional, performance, and physical characteristics of systems and their interfacesSupport stakeholders in managing change control processes, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Deviation (RFD), and Notices of Revision (NOR)Assist the Configuration Management Lead in planning, conducting, and documenting Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) to ensure system compliance and accuracyManage and maintain hardware and software configuration data using government systems, such as the DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR) Qualifications Required Education BS degree and two (2) years experience; Four (4) years experience can be considered in lieu of degree Required Skills Understanding basic configuration management principles and practicesSkilled with CM tools for status accounting and baseline managementExperience in CM plans, baselines, and change control processes for complex hardware and software systemsShow knowledge of the engineering change process, including ECPs, RFDs, and NORsExperience in conducting and documenting FCAs and PCAsFamiliarity with DoD data management systems such as DITPR Clearance Requirements Active TS/SCI
