Key Responsibilities
- Perform all required checks and line-ups prior to initiating the heat-up process.
- Work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Follow established work instructions and safety procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts, boom lifts, a 60-ton overhead bridge crane, and other mechanically assisted lifting devices.
- Maintain the outdoor physical work site in a safe and orderly condition.
- Complete predictive and emergent maintenance or repairs.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Willing to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willing and able to work in both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled environments, including outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Able to frequently lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
- Able and willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, safety shoes, hard hats, respirators, and other designated protective equipment.
- Routinely performs tasks requiring a full range of motion in both hands and arms, including circular, vertical, lateral, and overhead movements.
- Able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous mechanical experience.
- Prior mechanical and technical proficiency.
- Experience with electrical systems.
- Experience with rigging and crane operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
