Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts to ensure targeted sales growth
- Develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of customers
- Connect with key decision makers to fulfill their supply chain needs
- Identify new target accounts that align with the company sales objectives
- Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products, tools, and equipment according to customer needs
- Prioritize daily, weekly and monthly activities
- Qualify leads and opportunities
- Provide product and technical support
- Implement sales strategies to capture more business
- Maintain customer communication records
Requirements
- Concrete, Construction, or Building Materials industry sales experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Comfortable communicating with customers and making cold calls
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Strong communications skills with a strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task often
- A team player with the drive to elevate the team’s performance
- A good working knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products, CRM experience a plus
- Ability to quickly acquire and maintain product knowledge (concrete and small equipment)
- 4-year degree preferred or 2-year degree with equivalent experience in the industry
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Physical Requirements
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment
- Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
- Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise
