About the role

The Concrete Superintendent oversees and manages concrete construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves direct coordination with project teams and subcontractors to achieve successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site concrete construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Cookordination with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues promptly.
• Manage material orders and inventory to prevent delays and maintain project flow.
• Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Prepare daily reports on project progress and site activities.
• Resolve on-site challenges efficiently to keep the project on track.

Requirements

• Experience with managing concrete construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of concrete construction techniques, materials, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage on-site teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in preparing and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in concrete construction management.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• CPM (Certified Project Manager) certification preferred.
