Concrete Pump Truck Operator

Duties

• Operate concrete pumps on construction sites, ensuring precise placement of concrete.
• Collaborate with construction Project Management team to plan and execute concrete pouring schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Report issues to Fleet Manager.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment and coordinate with Fleet Manager to make repairs as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Maintain clean truck and pump at all times.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other crew members regarding project progress.
• Willingness to operate other Class 8 trucks (boom, roll off) as company needs and schedule dictate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating concrete pumps in a commercial driving capacity strongly preferred.
• Willing to train outstanding candidates that currently hold their Commercial Driver's License.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools.
• Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, and installation processes strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A valid commercial driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy machinery operation are a plus, willingness to obtain MA Hoisting 4D license required (company will assist).
