Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking an experienced Concrete Paving Foreman to lead a heavy civil paving project in the North Phoenix, Arizona area. This role is critical for managing daily field operations, ensuring quality and safety, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining strong relationships with project stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day field operations for concrete paving projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety standardsImplement and enforce jobsite safety protocols, conduct hazard assessments, and coordinate with safety personnel and inspectorsCollaborate with the Project Manager to plan site logistics, including paving sequences, equipment staging, and traffic controlDevelop and manage daily and weekly paving schedules, ensuring efficient use of crews, equipment, and materialsMonitor concrete placement, finishing, curing, and jointing to ensure compliance with specifications and high-quality standardsCoordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and execution of workProvide technical guidance to resolve field issues and optimize paving methods and productivityTrack labor, equipment, and material costs, and assist in schedule and budget adjustments as neededEnsure compliance with all applicable construction laws, codes, and company policiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with owners, inspectors, engineers, and vendorsSupport team development through training, mentorship, and performance feedbackOversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, final inspections, and documentationAdditional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on concrete pavingProven leadership in managing paving crews and subcontractors on complex roadway or infrastructure projectsProficient in construction management software (e.g., HCSS Heavy Job) and daily reporting toolsStrong commitment to jobsite safety and quality controlWillingness to work night shifts and extended hours as required by project demandsExcellent communication and team collaboration skills Requirements High School Diploma/GED or higherValid driver’s licenseAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsMust be available for on-call work as neededApplicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
