Essential Functions

Support management/operation to prioritize multiple projects, responsibilities and deadlines, while remaining highly disciplined.

Maintain and promote a culture of discipline and effective communication.

Promote/display operational leadership and gain knowledge of all assigned project scopes, schedules, deliverables, and timelines.

Assist in coordination between estimating, management, and project teams.

Aid in planning, leadership, and coordination of all upcoming and current projects, including submittal management, coordination, and project organization.

Perform cost analysis, budget forecasting, estimating, and change order management.

Fulfil projected requirements including submittal management, coordination, and project organization.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of commercial concrete industry means and practices.
  • Experience in project scheduling and management.
  • Leadership development and training.
  • Higher education with an emphasis in business administration, construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, architecture, and related fields.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence, articulation, and professionalism in speaking.

Work Environment

This job operates on project jobsites and in a main office setting.

Physical Demands: Minor lifting duties. Most work is office oriented.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full/part-time non-union position.

Travel: Up to 15% travel may be required.

Required Education and Experience

  • Higher education with an emphasis in business administration, construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, architecture, and related fields.
  • Relevant experience recommended but not required.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Pass a pre-employment screen, including drug and alcohol screening, background check, motor vehicle records check, reference check, and physical (if applicable).
  • Valid drivers' license in the state of permanent residence (must be insurable by Jayne's automobile insurance carrier).
  • Construction Work Authorization from Jaynes Corporation.
