Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. Job Description We are seeking dependable Concrete Laborers to support concrete crews on commercial and/or residential construction projects. This position involves assisting with formwork, concrete placement, finishing operations, and general jobsite tasks. Ideal candidates are hardworking, safety-minded, and willing to learn. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be completing the following: Assist with setting and stripping concrete formsLoad, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipmentSupport concrete placement, screeding, and finishing activitiesOperate hand and power tools safelyHelp with rebar placement, tying, and installationPerform site cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work areaFollow directions from foremen and experienced crew membersAdhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations Qualifications Previous construction or concrete experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy materialsWillingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamClass A CDL is preferred but not required to hire (required within 6 months)Valid driver’s licenseOwn your own hand toolsMust be able to learn from On-the-Job training and work well with othersMust be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening Benefits/Culture Today, we are listed among Engineering News-Records Top 150 Specialty Contracting firms.
