Responsibilities

• Perform concrete demolition as part of restoration and repair projects.
• Build and install forms for concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and manhole repairs.
• Place, finish, and restore concrete surfaces to project specifications.
• Assist with the restoration of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and manholes.
• Operate hand and power tools while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with the concrete restoration crew to complete projects on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific requirements while performing construction activities.
• Perform other duties requested by leadership

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Strong desire to learn a new trade

Schedule

• Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
• All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
• Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
• Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
• Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
