About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of project managers in delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget. They will also be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of project managers in delivering construction projects on time and within budget
- Manage client relationships and ensure project success
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution
- Monitor project costs and make adjustments as necessary
- Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or project management
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
Qualifications
- Experience in managing complex construction projects
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and best practices
- Experience with contract negotiations and dispute resolution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
